One year after the first-ever Environmental Physiotherapy Festival, we arranged an international online symposium on ‘Putting nature-based health and therapy into practice’.
This symposium featured four 90-minute sessions with presentations by a wide variety of speakers, topics, and attendees, all interested in the most up-to-date research in the field that can inform the implementation of nature-based health and therapy into day-to-day physiotherapy and allied health practice. Filip Maric is Associate professor at UiT The Arctic University of Norway, and founder of the Environmental Physiotherapy Association. He is interested in the outer rims of healthcare and critical physiotherapy, philosophy, #EnviroPT, environmental post/humanities, planetary health and sea kayaking.
